What is FEES?
FEES is an acronym for Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing. It is considered the "gold standard," in swallowing diagnostics. This evaluation is completed by a state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, using a flexible endoscope, which is passed transnasally to allow viewing of the pharyngeal and laryngeal structures. Assessing motor and sensory function, as the patient completes a series of tasks. The swallowing process is observed and evaluated as the patient is given various food, and liquid textures during the exam.

I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, with over six years of clinical experience. Professional settings include both acute, post- acute care and skilled nursing facilities. My passion for patients is offering speech therapy services including flexible endoscopic procedures, which led me to the formation of my company.
